Who we are
Veeklture is a social enterprise based in Kibera slum, Nairobi, Kenya. We exist to empower youths and teen mothers and provide them with the knowledge, resources, and support they need to develop their full potential and contribute to their communities.
About Veeklture?
We believe that empowering youth is not just a one-time event or program, but rather a continuous process that involves creating opportunities and environments for young people to thrive. This includes providing education and training, access to health care and social services, mentorship, leadership development, and opportunities for civic engagement and participation.
We are dedicated to providing information, resources, and inspiration for youth empowerment. Whether you are a teen mother or young person seeking guidance and support or looking to help empower the next generation, we are ready to listen to you and/or work with you. We hope to link up with you and see how together we can improve and better serve our community
Our Programs
We are proud to offer a variety of youth and teen mothers’ empowerment programs designed to support and empower them and the Kibera community. Our programs are rooted in the belief that every young person and teen mother deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential, and we strive to create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all. Our programs are designed to address a range of needs and challenges, from education and employment to health and wellness. We work closely with our participants to develop personalized plans that meet their unique goals and aspirations.
We help young people cultivate the skills and qualities they need to succeed in school, work, and life.
We strive to make sure the natural environment is preserved for future generations, and calling for more sustainable practices, research, and policies.
Our goal is to increase women’s access to economic resources and opportunities like jobs, financial services, skills development, and market information.
Veeklture creates opportunities for digitally excluded youths and teen mothers to develop the skills they need to participate fully in the digital economy and impact their community.
